Hall of Fame
Guidelines
The East Central Alumni & Community Foundation Alumni Hall of Fame has been established to celebrate the achievements and talents of our distinguished alumni. The ECHS Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes individuals who have made exceptional achievements in their career, significant contributions to Tulsa Public Schools, and/or made a difference to their communities. The selection of these individuals is intended to recognize and encourage a tradition of excellence, as well as inspire and mentor the students of East Central High School.
Nomination Eligibility and Considerations:
Anyone can nominate a candidate for induction into the Alumni Hall of Fame.
Nominee must be a graduate of East Central High School or a former staff member at East Central High School.
Areas to consider and describe in nomination include but are not limited to:
• Cultural/Performing Arts
• Athletics
• Politics
• Career Accomplishments
• Service to the Community on a local, national or global level
• Inspirational Journey to Encourage Students
New inductees will be selected and honored annually.
Posthumous awards may be granted.
The East Central Alumni & Community Foundation Board of Officers will carefully review each nomination and select inductees. Nominees not selected for induction will be kept in nomination status for four years.
